My very first blog post.

I have been contemplating starting this blog for quite sometime. I wish that I had a fun and excited post plan but I most definitely do not. As I sit here typing up my first post, I want to reflect on what I want this blog to be. Now, to be completely honest...just because I say what I "want it to be" it doesn't exactly mean that I will get there with it. Hey! I can dream though can't I? I will start with a little bit about myself...I am the author of this snazzy little corner of the internet, my name is Olivia. I am married to the best looking man on the planet and we have a 3 year old little boy who is pretty easy on the eyes himself...his red hair and blue eyes make one heck of a combo. We live what I would consider a pretty "typical" life these days. Working 9-5s Monday-Friday, spending the evenings being a normal family--dinner and getting ready for the next day. Then there is that romantic hour or two of trying to catch up on our shows and having some down time together (my husband and I) until I fall asleep 20 minutes into the show and wake up for my husband to give me a summary of the episode. That is pretty typical, right? I would consider the life that we have to be pretty beautiful in my opinion. It is simple but I go to bed at night thanking God for our life and everything he has given us.

Back to the blog...I would LOVE to get this thing up and running. By that I mean I do not want to be the only person that sees it. I have lots of ideas for post and I hope to put some of them in action sooner rather than later. I am trying to gear up for a house tour post...we just bought our home earlier this year. I am proud and want to show that little place to the world. I definitely want to try and keep a posting schedule as well. I still am running that show in my head and have not attempted to put any of it on paper yet. I am looking to have my first REAL post up on Tuesday (hopefully) of next week. Like I said, I have a few ideas so I will get all of that squared away this weekend!
